Oak Veneer Fitted Storage Display Cabinet
Below is a recent bespoke fitted oak veneer storage display cabinet that we carried out for a client in Winchmore Hill, N21. It was built to match the style and finish of the main oak table and chairs that are located in the centre of the room. In order to get an exact match, we went with a quality crown cut oak veneered 19mm MDF with 2mm solid oak edging. We had a custom walnut solvent based stain made by Morrells to give the same colour tone as the oak table/chairs along with the pronounced grain. It was then finished with a 3 stage sprayed lacquer coating in a 10% matt sheen. The hinges and runners throughout are Blum integrated soft close and offer the longest service life.
Below is the matching low level bespoke freestanding oak cabinet made to match the full height storage display featured above. Built using the same quality oak veneered MDF along with solid wood edging and sprayed lacquer for a soft sheen finish.
Contemporary Fitted Pippy Oak Storage Furniture
Displayed below is a recent oak fitted display cabinet that we made for a client in Winchmore Hill N21. It was designed very closely around Andrew’s storage requirements and to fit in with features around his home. The unit is made from top quality 18mm Egger MFC with matching vinyl wrapped doors and drawer fronts to offer maximum durability and style. The drawer boxes are handmade to match and offer solid bases along with quality concealed soft close runners. The doors are fitted with Blum integrated soft close hinges and ensure a long service life. I was very pleased with how this turned out and feel that it gives the Pippy oak material a real chance to shine.
